Strikes me that if this driver really is any good, it might represent a better one to use with USB mics, which as we all know have been exceedingly troublesome This tool uses JavaScript and much of it will not work correctly without it enabled. My problems with the Tascam drivers were primarily that old versions were not being removed completely by the Tascam uninstaller. But cant get a signal to AA3. All I know is that the “Tascam” asio drivers are written by Ploytec, who seem to have produced drivers for a large number of other respected companies.

I don’t know how well the paid-for version would interface with the Alesis mixer, of course. Just for the record, when I had problems with a Tascam usb device, Tascam support failed to respond to two requests for help that I submitted.

You can not post a blank message. I cannot speak too highly of their attitude and response, especially as the help was free and for an older device.

Anyone have a clue as to what I could be doing wrong? The question is whether many of the devices on that list will actually be any more use with asio, as the list itself suggests. You don’t have JavaScript enabled. The website about the driver says.

All I know is that the “Tascam” asio drivers are written by Ploytec, who seem to have produced drivers for a large number of other respected companies. The Ploytec site actually did have better uninstallation information, but I hadn’t been psychic enough to guess that.
